* Drinking warm milk or water with honey is also helpful against the symptoms of heartburn and acid reflux during pregnancy.

* A few OTC antacids can also be opted for against the condition. However, before opting for any kind of medication, make sure that a health care professional is consulted first to make sure that it is safe for you.

* Aside from the remedies mentioned above, maintaining proper posture while sleeping, doing mild exercises and going for a walk after eating can also help prevent heartburn attacks from recurring.
